Tulip for Mother

I painted this as a birthday gift for my beloved mother. She loved it and now hangs proudly on her wall.

I used a reference from Paint My Photo by Serge Schmitt. This painting was done using acrylic paints on canvas. I used only three colors Ultramarine blue, Medium Yellow, and Alizarin Crimson (a simple technique I learned from Lindsay Wierwich‘s YouTube videos: a limited palette and mix your colors so your painting is harmonized.

I’m enjoying my artful learning journey! There is so much I still have to learn! There will be more in the paintings in the near future!
